This blog was originally meant to document my year spent trying to get into  grad school  and the difficulties I have encountered trying to achieve this goal.  But then, increasingly, it has become a blog about  issues primarily relating to education and employment as they intersect with issues related to race, class and gender in Canada, but more specifically, Ontario and how I relate to them as a heterosexual second generation Canadian WOC.  So  while the subjects I cover may vary they usually centre on those to two topics and are mainly rooted in my experiences.  So what I write should be interpreted and understood in this way.
